MECHANICAL MODEL FOR SELF-ASSEMBLING
Dornier Do X plane was the largest, heaviest, and most powerful flying vehicle in the world when it was produced by the Dornier company of Germany in 1929.
Many aspects of the aircraft echoed nautical arrangements of the time, including the flight deck, which bore a strong resemblance to the bridge of a vessel. Dornier designed the flying boat to carry 66 passengers on long-distance flights or 100 passengers on short flights.
The model airplane is mounted on a special stand with a winding mechanism. The mechanism rotates all engines simultaneously above the wing. The start/stop lever is located on the stand and has been styled like the foot pedals of the airplane.
There is also a lever in the center of the wing that can be used to control the ailerons at the ends of the wing. Inside the case in the portholes you can see miniature passenger seats.
The airplane is made in the distinctive elegant style of Time for Machine airplane as well as its vintage stand. The gleaming, mechanical metal Dornier Do X from Time for Machine will touch the heart of any guest at your home or in the office.
